Nanocrystalline cores for High-Power transformers
Transformers for high-power and high-frequency switching power supplies require low-frequency loss in the transformer core, resulting in a saturation magnetic flux density Bs and a low residual magnetic flux density Br. For this reason, nanocrystalline alloys are used. A heat treatment process can achieve a core with low residual magnetism and constant magnetic permeability.
