Renowned manufacturer of the aerospace industry honours Blinzinger Elektronik GmbH with supplier award
Medium-sized company from southern Germany in focus of award ceremony
On 29th February 2016 a high tech company of the aerospace industry awards its coveted supplier award for the eleventh time. Approximately 400 of 1100 active suppliers are in constant supplier evaluation. Five companies are honoured this year for special achievements in the area of quality, supplier reliability. One of these companies is BLINZINGER ELEKTRONIK GmbH.
There is a business benefit behind this award ceremony and previous evaluation: continuous improvement. The head of purchase department puts the internal instructions for this in the foreground: “The supplier evaluation helps to permanently measure and specifically improve the quality of cooperation”, as well as “through constant measuring and evaluation of the results […] potentials of improvement (are) detected, changes […] visible”.
The products of the german aerospace company consist temporarily of more than 7500 single parts and must provide reliable service for a period of 15 years in orbit, “the importance of reliable and high quality suppliers is obvious here”, states the head of purchase furthermore.
The name of the statue, which is awarded together with a certificate of the supplier award, is “Steps to success” and is described as follows by the artist and creator of the bronze sculpture, Luise Kött-Gärtner: “A positive attitude helps and contributes to manage the steps to success easy and almost playfully.”
“The name of the sculpture is therewith correspondingly related to our company motto – Success through energy and drive” says Günther Blinzinger, managing director of Blinzinger Elektronik GmbH and thanks for the confidence in his company.
